Creating Local Value
Though we are at the beginning of Invasive Industries, the real beginning is with a dedication to local interests. A love for the Space Coast’s natural beauty led to the research and learning that have made this business viable and desirable. A significant amount of time was dedicated to learning about threats to the environment, economy, and people. Living near the Indian River Lagoon means being surrounded by a community of like-minded people who want to restore and preserve through productive change.
Invasive Industries depends on community leaders from local businesses to provide raw materials, in the form of organic waste, to be processed. These local efforts will preserve our beautiful home through reduced waste, community outreach, and the high-value products produced. Together, the county will become more sustainable.
We would be nowhere without our community partners.
Together, we have collected 6840 punds of waste!
Sustainability
Using modern soil science techniques to convert locally sourced organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. This process limits greenhouse gas emissions, diverts waste, fosters a sustainable community, and produces valuable resources for our community.
Biologically complete living soil has a host of benefits. Living soil manages water better and produces better, more nutrient-dense plants—plants that need less or no fertilizer and less or no pesticides. This creates a healthier natural space for our native plants and animals.
Viability
By providing evidence, we can prove the impact our community partners, customers, and community are making together.
Invasive Industries tracks and promotes our community partners’ contributions. Tracking and having marketable, accurate contributions to promote can help these Businesses connect with their clients and employees.
The Soil Lab, our compost, can prove the difference made over time for our clients, restoration projects, and our community.
